We are excited to host this event at the San Francisco Zoo. Join us for tea, yummy bites, and an afternoon of fun. We will have amazing items up for auction, plus fun and games. Let's celebrate together and make a difference!

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

WHAT TIME IS THE EVENT?

The Tea Party at the Zoo event is from 1:00-3:00pm at the Bernard Osher Great Hall.

WHAT TIME CAN I VISIT THE ZOO IF I PURCHASED DISCOUNTED ZOO ADMISSION TICKETS?

You can visit the zoo anytime from 10:15am until closing.

Please note: Our General Admission tickets will only allow entry until 3:30pm.

CAN I PICK UP MY ZOO TICKETS BEFORE THE TEA PARTY?

If you purchased discounted zoo tickets from us, you can pick them up anytime after 10:15am. Look for our table near the main entrance at Gate E from 10:15am until 1:00pm. After 1:00pm, you may pick up your zoo tickets at the tea party.

Please note that your discounted zoo tickets will gain you entry into the zoo until 3:30pm.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY TICKET ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT?

Yes. To gain entrance to the Zoo or the Tea Party, please present your ticket via the Eventbrite App or in printed form.

CAN I PURCHASE TEA PARTY TICKETS AT THE DOOR?

No, we will not be selling tickets at the door. Advanced ticket purchase is required.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Anything you'd wear to an animal-themed tea party!

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE AT THE SAN FRANCISCO ZOO?

The weather at the San Francisco Zoo can be unpredictable. Check the weather on the day of the event and don’t forget to bring an extra layer of clothing.

IS THERE A PARKING FEE?

The Zoo offers paid parking on a first come, first serve basis. The fee is $15 per vehicle. There is free parking along Sloat Boulevard.

WHERE IS THE ZOO PARKING LOT?

The Zoo parking lot has two entrances, one off the Great Highway for people driving from the East Bay and South Bay, and one off Sloat Boulevard at 47th Avenue for those driving from the North Bay. There is only one exit from the parking lot - putting everyone northbound on the Great Highway.

WHERE IS THE PEDESTRIAN ENTRANCE TO THE ZOO?

The pedestrian entrance to the Zoo is on Sloat Boulevard at 47th Avenue.

IS THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION NEARBY?

You can take the L Taraval to the end of the line and walk two blocks to Sloat Boulevard to the Zoo entrance. You can also take the 18 or 23 Muni bus lines.

MAY I BRING MY PETS?

To protect the health of the zoo animals, pets are not allowed.
